We are wholesalers of stainless steel. Normally, we operate our own trucks, but if a customer wants a delivery the same day, we call P.EX. It can be items no larger than a thimble, to pipes 6 metres in lenght. Quite often it is urgent, and at those times the courier is outside almost before we have hung up! And that is, of course, how we want it to be. A high level of service and good people to deal with.

The best thing about P.EX. is that they solve co-ordinated transportation in an easy way, i.e. material from several suppliers are delivered in the same delivery. That way it is easier and cheaper. We manufacture our tents in Estonia and therefore we need help to transport material there from various parts of the world. Despite the fact that many different people involved in these transportation chains, we only need to talk to one person ever at P.EX., regardless of our inquiry. I am very pleased with them. They always make sure that we are given the best and smartest solutions.

We use P.EX. for up to 80% of our food deliveries, which means about 50 a day. P.EX. go through our web site where we have a special page on which deliveries go where and at which hour. They then decide when and how it is to be picked up. As we deal with food, punctuality is very important. Sometimes there are traffic jams, which are hard for P.EX. to foresee, but in those cases the driver from P.EX. always calls so that we in turn can call our customer.

We can call P.EX. in all matters concerning transportation. For example, they know straight away if a delivery has been picked up with one of our suppliers in the U.S. If it hasn’t, they contact their agent over there straight away, if it has been collected, I get to know exactly when it will arrive.

Straight and swift answers all the time. They are there for us 100 percent and it is great to always get personal service. Everything just works perfectly, ever since they took charge of our transportation, which is something our clients and sales staff appreciate as well.

We use P.EX. on and off. From one courier a week to several the same day. When it comes to deliveries in and around Stockholm, the possibility of a courier means an extra production day for us. The people at P.EX. always give us straight answers and never promise more than they can hold. After all, it’s easy for someone to say ”We’ll take care of that!” but when P.EX. do, we know they can. By the way, P.EX. handles our daily post collection too.

We looked at a couple of other couriers, but only P.EX. could offer enough flexibility. They try a little harder and have a can-do-attitude, which they live up to every day. We deliver goods through them on a daily basis. Apart from deliveries in and around Stockholm, we have P.EX. direct cars that go to the rest of Scandinavia, overnight or over a day. As we work with three-party logistics, a late delivery can have very serious consequences. With P.EX. we need never worry.

We have a major import of swimsuits from Hong Kong, especially at the beginning of the year. If there are problems, wit will effect our whole season very badly. With P.EX. we know it works. Nothing is impossible when you call them. They are also always at hand when we need to export items to different parts of the world.
